Ranking Audit Overview

Ranking Audit analyzes your extension listings' optimization for a specific keyword in a supported language by evaluating three key areas: keyword relevance, user feedback, and Chrome Web Store Trust Signals, while providing optimization directions and suggestions.
Once you confirm the extension to audit, the language of the listing, and enter the target keyword, you will be able to see the audit report.
The audit report consists of two parts: Overview and Details.
Report Overview
This section directly shows how well your selected listing of extensions is optimized for the target keyword and provides an overview of the results.
Optimization Score
The optimization score in the report is calculated based on the performance of the audit items for selected extension listing under the target keyword.
The score level are as follows:
- Great (80~100) : Your extension is performing well for the target keyword.
- Getting There (60~79) : Your extension shows good potential but can benefit from further optimization.
- Not Bad (40~59) : There are noticeable areas for improvement to move the extension up the rankings.
- Poor (<40) : Your extension faces significant challenges in ranking for the target keyword and needs substantial optimization.
Audit Checklist
The Audit Checklist summarizes all audit items and categorizes them according to their optimization level into the following three categories:
- Needs Work: These items require priority attention, as low optimization in these areas can significantly affect your extension's ranking performance.
- Could Be Better: These items are partially optimized but can be improved to help strengthen your extension's ranking.
- Great: These items are well-optimized and performing strongly, requiring no further improvement.
Report Details
This section evaluates how well your extension listing is optimized to support its ranking performance, focusing on three key areas: keyword relevance, user feedback, and Store Trust Signals. It also provides actionable optimization directions and suggestions.
Keyword Relevance
Keywords are a crucial element of SEO, determining not only whether your extension appears in the Chrome Web Store search results but also its ranking position.
Extension Ranker evaluates how well your extension listing aligns with the target keyword by analyzing keyword frequency and density in three areas: the title, description summary, and description.
User Feedback
User feedback plays a critical role in an extension's ranking performance in the Chrome Web Store.

Store Trust Signals
Chrome Web Store badges are visible to users browsing the store and serve as an indicator of the quality and trustworthiness of the audited extension. Developers who earn these badges may enjoy higher rankings in search results and may even see their extensions featured in special promotions both within and outside the Chrome Web Store.
