What is the 14-day Starter trial?
Every new account gets 14 days of full Starter access — no credit card required. You can track 2 extensions, monitor up to 50 keywords each, run Ranking Audits, use Predict Rank, and access all 7 supported languages. The trial starts automatically when you sign up.
Do I need a credit card for the trial?
No. The trial is completely free and starts the moment you verify your email. You won't be charged anything, and there's nothing to cancel. If you decide to upgrade, you can add payment details at any time during or after the trial.
What happens when my trial ends?
After 14 days, your account moves to the Free plan. Ranking Audit, Predict Rank, Keyword Insight, and Keyword Explorer will be locked. You'll keep 1 extension and 3 keyword monitors with daily rank updates. If you had more during the trial, you'll get to choose which ones to keep.
Will I lose my data after the trial?
No data is deleted. Your ranking history, audit reports, and keyword data are all preserved. On the Free plan, extras beyond 1 extension and 3 keywords are archived.
What can I do with the Free plan?
Free gives you 1 extension and 3 keyword monitors with daily rank updates — enough to keep an eye on your most important keywords. Analysis tools like Ranking Audit and Predict Rank require a Starter or Growth plan.
How do I decide between Starter and Growth?
Starter is ideal if you're focused on optimizing one or two extensions with a core set of keywords. Growth is for when you need to manage more extensions, track keywords across multiple languages, and get deeper insights at higher volume — essentially, when you want to cover more ground without checking everything manually.
What does "Rank Tracking" mean?
Rank Tracking refers to monitoring how your extension ranks for selected keywords in the Chrome Web Store. Each tracked keyword is updated daily.
What is considered a "Project"?
A project refers to a single Chrome Web Store extension, identified by its Extension ID.
Does Extension Ranker work for new or small extensions?
Yes. Chrome Web Store SEO is often most effective in the early stages, helping new extensions acquire their first organic users through better keyword targeting and ranking visibility.
How often are rankings updated?
All rankings are updated once per day. Short-term fluctuations are normal, so trends over time are more meaningful than single-day changes.
