Joseph Hu

Joseph Hu is the founder of Extension Ranker. Before starting it, he was a product manager responsible for designing and operating several Chrome extensions, where he had to find users without ad budgets or big feature launches.

Studying how Chrome Web Store search works, he got his team's extensions onto the first page for several core keywords, which turned into a steady source of organic installs. He then left to turn that approach into a tool other developers could use.

Today he builds Extension Ranker and studies Chrome Web Store ranking data. When the data shows something worth sharing, such as how title or listing changes move rankings, he writes it up for developers and small teams.
