Find Keywords with Explorer
Keywords Explorer is the fastest way to discover what your potential users are searching for. By analyzing extension descriptions, it generates a comprehensive list of high-value keywords.
Here is a step-by-step guide on how to utilize Keywords Explorer.
1. Choose Your Analysis Target
Navigate to Keywords Explorer from the sidebar. You will see two tabs representing different analysis modes:
- Added Item: Use this tab to generate keywords based on an extension you have already added to Extension Ranker. Select your extension from the dropdown menu.
- Competitor: Use this tab to analyze a competing extension. Simply paste the competitor's Chrome Web Store URL or their Extension ID into the input field.
2. Select the Target Language
Choose the language market you want to target from the Language dropdown. Extension Ranker will tune the AI recommendations to reflect regional search behaviors and terms relevant to that specific language.
3. Generate Recommendations
Click the Start Generate button.
The AI engine will analyze the extension's title, summary, and full description. Within moments, it will return a list of recommended keywords.
Each keyword block includes:
- Search Volume: The average number of times users search for this term on external search engines.
- Add to Tracker: A quick-action button to start monitoring your rank for this keyword.
- Insights: A direct link to analyze the keyword's competition landscape further in Keyword Insights.
4. Evaluate and Act
Review the generated list. Look for keywords that have a healthy mix of relevance and Search Volume.
- If you find a broad, high-volume keyword, click it to open Keyword Insights and check if the Top 10 competition is too fierce.
- If you find a promising niche keyword, click the Plus (+) icon to add it straight to your Ranking Tracker to begin monitoring your current position.
Next Step: Once you have selected your target keywords, evaluate how well your current store listing is optimized for them using Ranking Audit.
