Keywords Explorer Overview
Keywords Explorer is a powerful, AI-driven keyword recommendation tool. By analyzing an extension's title, summary, and detailed description, it uncovers hundreds of relevant keywords to help you capture new growth opportunities in the Chrome Web Store.
How it Works
Keywords Explorer uses advanced AI models to understand the true context of your extension and the problems it solves for users. Instead of just relying on exact keyword matches, it suggests related terms, long-tail phrases, and niche problem-oriented keywords that users frequently search for.
Two Analysis Modes
To help you find the best keywords, Keywords Explorer offers two distinct analysis modes:
- Added Item: Select one of the extensions you have currently added to your Extension Ranker dashboard. The system will process your extension's description to propose keywords that directly fit your current use case.
- Competitor: Enter a competitor's Chrome Web Store Extension ID or their store URL. Extension Ranker will fetch their latest description and structure, helping you discover the exact keywords your competitors are targeting (or missing).
Understanding the Results
Once the AI processes your or your competitor's extension, it will return a curated list of keyword recommendations along with their Average Search Volume.
- Search Volume: The average search popularity of the keyword across external search engines over the past 12 months. This helps you quickly weed out zero-volume terms and focus on keywords with real traffic potential.
- Track Keywords: If you find a promising keyword, you can immediately add it to your Ranking Tracker to monitor how your extension ranks for it over time.
- Keyword Insights: You can click into any keyword to seamlessly jump to the Keyword Insights tool, where you can assess the exact competition level and view the top 10 extensions ranking for that term.
